Tsega Mahari’s Meat Marinade for Flank Steak
3 cups soy sauce
2 cups olive oil (no need to use expensive Extra Virgin oil for this)
½ lb. piece fresh ginger, peeled & chopped
2 heads garlic, smashed
5 cups lemon juice
1 bunch of fresh rosemary, chopped (a hand full is considered a bunch)
1 bunch fresh thyme, chopped
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
1 bottle of May Ploy sweet chili sauce
TT salt & pepper
1. Combine all ingredients and marinate flank steak for 2-24 hours
2. Grill over medium hot coals or medium high heat on gas grill, until desired doneness. Let meat rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
