Producers of the 2013 Kansas City Golf Expo announced Monday that Prairie Band Casino & Resort has renewed its Presenting Sponsorship of the consumer golf expo, which runs Feb. 22-24 at the Overland Park Convention Center.  Show hours, exhibitor packets and other details are available online at  
One of the first sponsors to sign a sponsorship agreement with the all-new show when it relaunched in 2012 under the direction of producers Varsity Golf Shows, Prairie Band Casino & Resort was also one of the first to renew for 2013, a sure sign of confidence in the show’s ability to turn out valuable consumers.
As part of their sponsorship, Prairie Band Casino & Resort will donate a number of stay-and-play packages, free greens fees and 2-for-1 coupons to the resort’s Firekeeper Golf Course, to be given away to golf show attendees throughout the weekend.
Last year’s show–the first in the K.C. market for producers Varsity Golf Shows–proved popular with sponsors, exhibitors and consumers, with over 6,500 of the latter passing through the doors over the show’s three days to take advantage of show-only specials on golf-related products and services, free lessons, try-and-buy opportunities with the year’s hottest new equipment, and an incredible giveaway package that included free golf, golf balls, magazine subscriptions and more.
Just as they did in 2012, Edwin Watts Golf Shops will fill an on-site superstore with name-brand clubs, merchandise and apparel.  They’ll also line an indoor driving range with representatives from major club companies–including Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, NIKE, PING, TaylorMade, Titleist and Wilson — each showcasing the year’s best and newest clubs, and giving golfers the chance to hit them for themselves, for free!
In addition, Superior Cadillac, Waddell & Reed, Mississippi Development Authority, Birdie Ball, Renewal by Andersen, Synlawn, Summer Winds and the Lodge at Four Seasons have also signed on as sponsors for 2013, as have numerous local and national exhibitors.
